Gala night 1 - Charity Fundraiser with Dr. David Suzuki & Dr. Zorba Paster

Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, Harbourside Auditorium
Cost: Included in Delegate and Student fee
Additional Tickets/Public tickets: $80 per person

Dr. David Suzuki, PhD, Canada, is an internationally renowned award winning scientist, author and television presenter.
Peter Garrett, President of the Australian Conservation Foundation will introduce Dr. David Suzuki.
Dr. Zorba Paster, MD, best-selling author, national radio host and Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, USA.
Spine tingling music on the Native American flute will be provided by the three-time Grammy nominated R. Carlos Nakai.
A share of proceeds will be given to support the Australian Conservation Foundation and the Australian Marine Conservation Society.

 

Saturday 6 March
Gala night 2 - Charity Fundraiser with Dr. Patch Adams

Additional Tickets/Public tickets: $120 per person
Dr. Patch Adams, MD, the founder of the Gesundheit! Institute, California, USA. will discuss "The Joy of Caring" and convince us that "Laughter is the Best Medicine". Renowned performer and co-founder of Clown Doctors, Jean-Paul Bell will appear on stage and add to the merriment. The magic of sound will be introduced by Byron Bay's Chris James and "Dr. Didge" Arpana Geeta (Dr. Peter O'Brien, MD).
A share of proceeds will be given jointly to support Clown Doctors and Camp Quality.

Official Launch

6:00pm-6:30pm The International Research Centre for Healthy Ageing and Longevity
Prof. Gary Andrews. Professor of Ageing, University of South Australia. Awarded in 2003 a Centenary Medal by the Governor General of Australia for his outstanding contribution to research on ageing.
Dr. Alexandre Sidorenko, MD, PhD. Chief, United Nations Focal Point on Ageing, Division for Social Policy & Development, New York, NY, USA.
Professor John McCallum is currently the Dean of the College of Social and Health Sciences and Provost of Campbelltown Campus at the University of Western Sydney.
